Winnifred Costley

Winnie Costley, 90, of Two Harbors, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Ecumen Scenic Shores in Two Harbors.
She was born June 12, 1923 to Fritz and Nan (Peterson) Olson in Two Harbors, where she was a lifelong resident. Winnie operated the local Sears catalog store and later worked at the IGA grocery store. She will always be remembered by her children and grandchildren for her home cooking, especially her rye bread. Family was most important to her, and she especially enjoyed family vacations with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Paul.
Winnie is survived by her sons, Jeff of Canada and Kevin (Kim) of Walker, MN; daughters, Ginny (Bill) Young of Two Harbors and Barbara Schau of Lindenhurst, Illinois; sister, Gwen Whiting of Albuquerque, NM; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the 1 PM memorial service on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Cavallin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery.
