William E. Carlson, 61, Two Harbors, died Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his home after a long battle with brain cancer.

Bill was born to  Robert “Meatball” and Jessie (Shewell) Carlson in Two Harbors where he was a life-long resident. While attending high school, Bill went to work for SuperOne Foods, and after graduating continued working there for over 36 years, until his health prevented him from working.

Bill was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. He was a football enthusiast, and especially enjoyed the Oakland Raiders. He also enjoyed his dogs, decorating his yard and home for holidays, collecting coins, Coca-Cola and Norman Rockwell memorabilia, and classic rock albums.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Kristina Peterson, and a granddaughter, Josephine.

He is survived by his wife, Philomenia; children, Jarrod (Beth), Al, Jaclyn (Ryan), and Darren; grandchildren, Amelia, Gavin, Zachary, Jordan, Eve, Piper and Lincoln; a sister, Kimberly (Bruce) Ziegler; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews; and many friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday February 26, 2020 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors, and from 10 AM until the 11AM service on Thursday at Living Waters Fellowship in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
