Wesley Severson

Wesley J. Severson, age 90, passed away December 28, 2014.

Wes served in WWII, Two Harbors volunteer fireman for 27 years, worked for the DMIRR retiring in 1984.  Wes loved fishing and hunting with son Bill.  He was a gentle man, loved by all and will be missed.

He is preceded in death by parents, wife Tyyne, 4 sisters, 4 brothers.

Wes is survived by wife Joan, son Bill Severson, daughter Cheryl (Randy) Bennett, sister Doris Brummer, brother-in-law Bob Sellman, stepdaughters Carol (Joe) Crowe and Nancy(Tim) Cameron and grandchildren Jonathan Bennett, Tonya(Shane) Parks, Lisa (Jay) South, Jessica (Eliseo) Garcia, Christina Crowe(Ian Kunsch), many great grand children, nephews, nieces.

Thanks to staff at Chris Jensen for their kind care given to Wes.

Funeral Services will be held Friday January 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace United Church, 1111N 11Ave E, Duluth with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Two Harbors.  In lieu of flowers memorials to Peace United Church or Two Harbors Volunteer Fire Dept City Hall Two Harbors 55616.
