Warren L. McKinnon

Warren L. McKinnon, 52, Two Harbors, died Monday, October 21, 2024 at St.Luke’s Hospital.

Warren was born February 24, 1972 to Jim and Ellen (Clifford) McKinnon in Rockford, Illinois, and moved to Two Harbors with his family as a child in 1976. After high school he served in the U.S. Navy as a boilerman and firefighter. He worked in Colorado for a time capping oil wells and driving truck, did wiring on firetrucks at Rosenbauer, and later returned to Two Harbors and was employed as a welder at Serco Loaders for several years.

A “jack of all trades”, he enjoyed hunting, music, drawing and creating. His family and friends were his world.

Warren is survived by his fiancee, Tanya Sansom; a son, Dallas, step-son, Taylor; step-daughter, Sandra; his parents, Jim and Ellen; brothers, Roy (Irene), Shane and Clint (Tilly); a sister, Kim (Vince) Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
