Twyla Nowotczynski

Twyla Nowotczynski ,70, of Finland, died Monday, August 6th 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
She was born November 29, 1941 to Sulo and Vera (Anderson) Haveri in Two Harbors. She grew up in Finland, attended school in Two Harbors, but was a member of the first graduating class from William-Kelley High School in Silver Bay. After graduation Twyla attended beautician school in Minneapolis, then worked for Dorothy Gale's salon in Silver Bay. She married Thomas Nowotczynski on August 1, 1964 in Gettysburg, South Dakota. They raised their family in Finland.
Twyla attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Thomas; brother Ward; and sister-in-law Mary.
Twyla is survived by her daughters Tianna (Billy) Sharp of Colorado and Shannon (Eric) Davis of Duluth; son Neil (Dianne) of Finland; grandchildren Shawn, Michael, and Connal; brother Darwyn (Janet) Haveri of Finland; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service on Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Silver Bay. Burial will be in Crystal Bay Cemetery.
