Timothy Warren Aho, 62, of Isabella, passed away November 6, 2011 in a single car accident near his home.
He was born May 27, 1949 in Hibbing, and graduated from Floodwood High School in 1967. A short time later he joined the Army and was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne, completing 57 jumps. He worked for UPS until he entered the Ironworkers Apprenticeship program. He became a journeyman in 1976 and retired after 30 years in 2005 from Local #563.
In 1998 Tim bought "Twins and Others" and turned it into the one and only "Moose Ridge." He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and anything having to do with being in the woods.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Ernie and Joyce; a sister, Marcia; and a son, Joshau. Tim is survived by his wife, Helen; sons Neil (Judy) and Derek; grandchildren Haylie, Megan, Travis, Leanne, Alex, Summer, and Amelia; sisters, Tresa, Tina, and Terry; brothers, Darcy, Todd, Taippo, and Preston; and step-mother Joan "Mama." He is also survived by his other family Ray (previously deceased), Thelma, Rick, Patsy, Debbie, Randy, Scott, and Renee.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 1 PM at the Isabella Community Center.
