Terry Oullis

Terry P. Oullis, 57, of Grand Marais passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Friday July 23, 2010 at the North Shore Care Center in Grand Marais.

He was born April 6, 1953 to George and Nancy (Quinlan) Oullis in Duluth. He grew up in Grand Marais, and graduated from Cook County High School in 1971. Terry was a high caliber downhill skier and a very strong athlete who competed in track, and loved the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He had a complete understanding of nature and the woods. Terry had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help people out. He was loved dearly by his entire family.

He is preceded in death by his older brother Jack in 2008.

Terry is survived by his parents, George and Nancy Oullis; children, Jesse and Austin Oullis; grandchildren, Derek and Weston Smith; sister, Susan (Philippe Desrochers) Oullis-Desrochers, twin brother, Jeffrey (Susie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services were held at Maple Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Cavallin Funeral Home.
