Sylvia Schultz

Sylvia Schultz, 77, of Brimson, died unexpectedly Friday, May 20, 2016 at United Hospital in St. Paul.
She was born on July 16, 1938 to Olaf C. and Christine (Peterson) Olson in Faribault. Sylvia grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Mechanic Arts High School, vice president of her class. She married Howard P. Schultz on October 20, 1956 in St. Paul. They raised their family in the North Branch area and moved to Brimson in 1990. Sylvia was a homemaker through the years and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Howard; children, Susan Schultz, Steven (Kathy) Schultz, and Karen (Mike) Stroinski; grandchildren, Erin, Joey, Phaedra, Kelsey, Zak, and Brooke; sister, Carol Thoen, and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2PM Thursday May 26, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Two Harbors. Private Burial will be in Bassett Cemetery.
