STEVEN L. “Bones” JONES
Steve Jones, 57, of Silver Bay, formerly of Hovland died Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.
He was born in Houston, TX on February 13, 1959. Bones grew up in Minneapolis until moving to Little Marais in the 1980’s, then on to Hovland where he lived for many years. Only recently moving to Silver Bay.
Bones was a jack of all trades, doing miscellaneous jobs throughout the years. He enjoyed writing and playing music, riding motorcycle, the outdoors, and time spent with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence and step-mother, Marion (Tveiten) Jones and grandparents.
Steve is survived by uncles, Steve Jones and Ronald Tveiten and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
