Steve Ingram, 61, of Silver Bay, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
He was born on June 22, 1951 to Robert and Catherine (Mueller) Ingram in Littlefork, MN. Steve grew up and attended schools in Silver Bay, graduating from William Kelley High School.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He and Kay shared many memorable North Country adventures. Steve took great joy in passing his love of the outdoors on to his children, grandchildren, and anyone who showed interest.
Steve was also known as a fireworks fanatic. The 4th of July was his Christmas, and planning and setting off fireworks were true passions of his.
He is preceded in death by his parents and faithful dog, Buddy.
Steve is survived by the love of his life, wife, Kay; son, Nathan Ingram (Tracy Waln); daughters, Cris (Steve) Borowski, Jessica (Cory) Davern, Danielle Ingram (John Horsch), and Rachel Ingram (Drew Schotz); siblings , Sherry (Cary) Pokorny, Marty (Brenda) Ingram, JoDee (Kenny) Frank, Cynthia (John) Undesser; 2 granddaughters; 6 grandsons; many nieces and nephews; and sidekick, Henry.
Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Wednesday at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Finland.
