Robert Hill

Robert L. Hill, 85, Brimson, died Sunday June 2, 2013 in St Luke's Hospital.
He was born November 18, 1927 to Arthur and Maria Hill in Quincy, Illinois, and grew up in Pierre, South Dakota. After moving to Grand Rapids, MN he served in the Army during World War II, and later the Air Guard. In 1963 he married Pauline Howard and they have made their home in Brimson since 1973. Bob worked for many years as a logger and also operated Pauline's Bait with his wife.
Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; daughter Isabelle (Scott) Westman, and three grandchildren, Steven, Noah, and Emma.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Bassett Town Hall in Brimson. Burial will be in Bassett Cemetery.
