Robert Dugas

Robert C. Dugas, 67, Silver Bay, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long battle with a rare blood disease.

Bob was born December 20,1953 to Edmund “Eddie” and Elizabeth “Betty” (Wippler) Dugas in Two Harbors and lived on the North Shore for most of his life. For the past 18 years he has been employed as a truck driver for North Shore Oil/Thompson Gas Co.

He enjoyed scrap metal recycling, cribbage, fishing, mowing his lawn, building fires, and family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenny.

He is survived by his wife, Verona; sons, William (Hollie), Richard (Rebecca) and Brandon; nine grandchildren; six brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
