Robert Davies

Robert D. Davies, 77, of Two Harbors, died on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Waterview Shores after suffering for several months with dementia.

Bob was born August 22, 1943 to Robert and Shirley Davies in Bloomington, Mn, where he grew up and and graduated from high school. He served in the U. S. Army from 1964-1970 where he was awarded the National Defense and Good Conduct Medals.  While in the Army he received training in electronics communication and after his discharge, worked and taught in the communications industry for many years.  He had made his home in Two Harbors since the early 1980’s.

He enjoyed fishing and time at his lake home.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Jan; and his second wife, MaryAnn.

He is survived by his children, Chrissy (Eric) Smith, Jim (Kathryn) Davies, Michelle (Andrew) Davies-Smith, Daniel Davies, Thomas Davies, and Anne (Nathan) McPherson; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and brothers and sister, Jim, Tom, and Mary Davies.
