Rande (Svee) Neylon, 68, Two Harbors, died Saturday, January 11, 2020 in the Benedictine Health Center, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Rande was born January 28, 1951 to George and Bernice “Bunnie” (Woollen) Svee and was a life-long resident of Two Harbors. After graduating from high school in 1969, she married Jack Neylon and together they operated Neylon Trucking and Excavating for many years. After Jack’s health forced his retirement, Rande drove truck for the Lake County Highway Department for a few years.
A kind and generous person, she enjoyed visiting with people, time spent with her grandchildren, photography, gardening and had a special love for animals.
Rande was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Jon.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack; daughter, Susan (Blake) Fjeran of Two Harbors; a son, Jim Neylon of Superior; grandchildren, Sasha, Sarah and Brock Fjeran, and Chloe and John Neylon; brothers, Ron (Cindy) and Larry (Jackie) Svee and their families; and her beloved dog, Rocky.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Lake County Humane Society.
A Celebration of Rande’s Life will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Community Center in Two Harbors.
