Pauline Haveri, 90, of Two Harbors, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Talahi Senior Campus in St. Cloud.
She was born March 1, 1923 to John and Alma Jacobsen. She grew up on the shore of Lake Superior in Silver Bay with her siblings, as her father was a commercial fisherman. Pauline enjoyed the music of the Haveri Boys and going to dances up and down the North Shore. She loved gardening, and camping with her late husband Arvi up near Finland and fishing the many streams and creeks. She also loved watching the boat traffic on the lake and loved watching wildlife.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Arvi; daughter, Rosalind Haveri Shoemaker; siblings, Arnold, Junior, and Herbert Jacobsen, Florence Block and Madaline Hansen; and a great-granddaughter, Reanne Shoemaker.
She is survived by her grandson, Steve (Tracy) Shoemaker of Sauk Rapids, MN; granddaughter, Cathy (Okindo) Shoemaker of Superior, WI; great-grandson Eric Shoemaker Flansburg; great-granddaughter, Kendra Shoemaker; great-great-granddaughter, Olive Nicole Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday July 6, 2013 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Luncheon to follow from 2-4 PM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
