Patricia Berry

Patricia Berry, 87, of Silver Bay, MN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday April 20, 2015.

Pat was born on March 17, 1928 to William and Constance (Ring) Carlson in Grove City, MN.  She attended schools in Grove City before attending Bethel College, where she met William J. “Bill” Berry.  They married on June 23, 1948 and lived in various places where Bill served as a pastor.  In 1966 they moved to Orange City, IA where Pat worked as a medical secretary for many years.  After retiring in 1990, they made their home in Silver Bay, MN.

Pat loved reading the Bible and enjoyed leading and attending Bible studies and various Christian women’s organizations.  She loved cooking, needlework, quilting and playing the piano.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Two Harbors until moving to Carefree Assisted Living when she and Bill became members of Palisade Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willard Carlson.

Pat is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill; daughter, Linda (Kevin) Meissner of Osseo, MN; sons, David (Tara) Berry of Greenleaf, WI and Dana (Katrina) Berry of Elgin, IL; six grandchildren, Ben Meissner, Morgan and Caden Berry, Douglas, August, and Melody Berry; and two great-grandchildren, Ellalena and Avalyn Meissner.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Friday April 24, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Two Harbors.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
