Nicholas Ojard

Nicholas H.W. Ojard, 32, of Knife River died tragically on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in a snowmobile accident in Colorado.

He was born on December 6, 1987 to Gary and Vicky (Bissell) Ojard in Duluth.  Nick lived in Aurora the first 4 years of his life, but since that time has made Knife River his home.  He graduated from Two Harbors High School in 2006 and after completing his plumbing apprenticeship was employed at AW Kuettel and Sons and most recently for Stack Bros.

Cars and snowmobiling were his passions.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Hans and Jacqueline Ojard and Mary Ann Bissell and uncle, Neil Ojard.

Nick is survived by his parents, son, Landon; fiancé Christine Meilach; grandfather, Wendell “Skip” Bissell; uncle Tad Bissell and his family; and many cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Knife River Lutheran Church followed by lunch at 2:30 at the Moose Lodge in Two Harbors.
