Nicholas Steven Gatz, 56, of Silver Bay died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at his home.
Steven was born on February 21, 1954 to Nicholas and Gladys (Thomas) Gatz in Hinsdale, Illinois where he grew up and attended schools. He was self employed as a house painter, but painting for leisure was his true joy. Steve also enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald, father Nicholas, and grandparents.
Steve is survived by daughter Stefanie of Anthem, AZ; mother Gladys of Silver Bay; brother David (Cassandra) of Cave Creek, AZ; sister-in-law Cathleen of Red Wing; nieces and nephews, Shane (Carol), Ronald (Becky), Erin, and Tanya; and great-uncle Michael.
