Neva Winslow
July 25, 1920 — April 11, 2016
Neva Winslow, 95, of Two Harbors, died Monday April 11, 2016 at Barross House.
She was born on July 25, 1920 to Herman and Amanda Schmidt in Spring Valley, Minnesota where she grew up. After graduating from Preston High School, she attended teacher’s college and worked as a teacher until her marriage to Carroll Winslow on December 15, 1946. They moved to Two Harbors in 1953, and Neva was a homemaker through the years.
Neva enjoyed activities at Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was a member, and gardening, baking, and hostessing.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carroll, and a brother, Paul Schmidt.
Neva is survived by her children, Jim (Cindy) Winslow of Eagan, and Jerry (Vickie) Winslow of Shoreview; Judy (Eddy) Symons of Two Harbors; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Schmidt; and a sister, Bernice Lingbeck.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the 1 PM Service, Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
