Neil Ojard
October 15, 1962 — March 1, 2011
Neil Ojard, 48, of Knife River, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at St Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
He was born October 15, 1962 to Hans and Jacqueline (Erickson) Ojard in Cloquet. He moved to Knife River in 1969 where he grew up and attended school. He later worked at Hardees in Two Harbors and was active at the Knife River Developmental Achievement Center. He was a member of Knife River Lutheran Church. He lived at My House in Two Harbors for the past 14 years, and enjoyed fishing with Ronnie. Neil was known for his ever present smile and outstretched hand, ready for a handshake; but if he really knew you, you always got a hug.
Neil is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a brother Gary (Vicky) Ojard of Knife Rive and nephew Nicholas (Megan) Ojard also of Knife River.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service Friday, March 4, 2011 at Knife River Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the My House Vacation Fund.
