Myrle Coe

Myrle Coe, 90, of Grand Marais, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Cook County North Shore Care Center in Grand Marais.
She was born January 17, 1922 in Litchfield, Minnesota, grew up in Minneapolis, graduated from high school there, and attended Minneapolis Business College. She was employed as an office manager at Archer Daniels Midland for 20 years, until moving to Grand Marais in 1964, where she was employed as office manager at Arrowhead Electric until retiring in 1982.
Myrle was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Selmer and Marie Felland.
She is survived by her sons, Paul (Barbara) Coe and Michael (Jeannine) Coe all of Grand Marais; grandchildren, Rebecca (Jeramie) Lentz of South Korea, Mitchell (Allison) Coe of Webster, Wisconsin, Sarah Coe of Otsego, Minnesota, Bryan (Erica) Coe of Brainerd; great-grandchildren, Dean and Dylan Lentz, Marley and Crosby Coe, Cameron Coe.
Graveside service will be held at 1 PM Friday June 1, 2012 at Maple Hill Cemetery, followed by refreshments at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
