Megan Ann Adams Bailey, 18, of Duluth, died tragically in a motor vehicle accident Saturday, July 20, 2013.
Megan was born on the 4th of July, 1995 to Mark Dana Bailey and Kimberly Ann Adams Bailey in Two Harbors, MN.
Megan attended the John A. Johnson Elementary School, the Minnehaha Middle School in Two Harbors, and Two Harbors High School for her 8th grade year. She transferred to Duluth East High School to start her 9th grade year.
Megan was a 2013 graduate of Duluth East High School and a talented volleyball player. She played for the Duluth East Volleyball Team and the Minnesota North Nationals Team. Megan was preparing to attend Iowa Lakes Community College this fall, with a scholarship to play division II volleyball as a Middle Blocker/ Hitter.
Megan is survived by her mother Kim Bailey of Duluth; father Mark Bailey of Two Harbors; brothers Dillon Bailey of Duluth and Casey Carlson of Two Harbors; grandparents, Candy and Dick Adams of Superior; aunt, Kathleen Rennan and her sons, Mac and Brody; grandmother, Beverly Bailey of Two Harbors; aunts, Yvonne Wade and Vicki Wick; uncle, Dale Bailey; and 8 cousins; extended family, teammates and friends.
