Mary Ann E. Bissell, 76, of Knife River, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Barross House in Two Harbors.
She was born May 13, 1938 to Raymond Landmark and Mable Falk in Two Harbors, where she grew up and graduated from high school. Mary Ann married Wendell “Skip” Bissell on Aug 13, 1954 in Two Harbors, and they made their home in Knife River. She worked as a bank teller in Two Harbors for 20 years, and planted trees for the US Forestry for many years. Mary Ann was a member of the Knife River Lutheran Church Ladies Aide, Vasa Lodge, and Sons of Norway. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, flowers, going shopping with her daughter Vicky, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter in law, Sandy.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 60 years, Skip; daughter, Vicky (Gary) Ojard; son, Tad; grandchildren, Justin, Heather, Seth, Kaitlyn, and Nicholas; great-grandson, Acuzio; brother, Victor Landmark; and her dog Billy.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service, Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Knife River Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
