Mary Pearson

Mary Ann Pearson, 91, of Two Harbors passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home.
Mary Ann was born in Two Harbors on February 25, 1926 and lived in Two Harbors her entire life. She married the love of her life, Delray Pearson on February 6, 1948 and they were married for 62 years when Delray preceded her in death in 2009.
Mary Ann loved music and dancing, and her favorite singer was Marty Robbins. She was also a very good horseshoe player and enjoyed bridge and solving crossword puzzles.
Mary Ann was a partner in the Pearson family development company that built the Harbor Landing Mall and Superior Shores Resort.
In her later years she enjoyed traveling with her children and grandchildren, visiting Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, as well as many locations in the United States.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Delray, and sisters, Clarice and Lucille.
She is survived by her son, Mark of Two Harbors; a daughter Vicki of Malibu, California; three grandchildren, Juan of Mexico and Mark Jr. and Nicholas of Two Harbors; and her sister, Joann Gow.
She will be sadly missed and was a fantastic mother and grandmother to her family.
Mary Ann will be buried next to her beloved husband Delray in Lakeview Cemetery at a private family ceremony next summer.
