Mary Maydole

Mary (Mickelson) Maydole of Two Harbors, Died May 14th, 2016 at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Two Harbors, Minnesota, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born May 16, 1954 to William (Bill) and Virginia (Gina) (Gravelle) Mickelson in Duluth, MN.  Mary was a lifelong resident of Two Harbors. She was a professional cook, working at several local establishments and eventually retiring from Lakeview Memorial Hospital. Mary was also a voracious reader and lover of true crime and Hitchcock. She loved cooking for family and friends, and truly enjoyed spending time with her family at Kane Lake. Mary was a lover of animals, rescuing and adopting many over the years.

She lives on through her husband Bill (Harvey) Maydole of 22 years; her children Faith (Nick), Cory (Christine), Casey, Melina (Jon), and Sally (Dave), stepsons Chris and Brian,11 grandchildren; Noah, Jonathan, Zoe, Olivia, Aden, Harper, Veda, Signe, Holden, Beckett, and Kyndyn; siblings Bill, (Peggy) Rick, (Shelley) Julie, (Dan), Sue, (Jeff) and David; stepmother Jan, stepbrothers and sisters; Cindy, David, Mark, Amy, Crystal, and Valerie. Mary’s extended family includes dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as former husbands and fathers to her children, Michael Koenig and Kelly Lusk.

Memorial Service: 4 PM, Wednesday, May 18th at Cavallin Funeral Home, 426 2nd Ave, Two Harbors, Minnesota.
