Margaret Brisson

Peggy Brisson, 63, of Grand Marais died unexpectedly due to complications from pneumonia on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospice in Duluth.
She was born on September 17, 1953 to George and Alice (Rude) Brisson in Duluth. Peggy grew up and attended schools in Grand Marais where she was a lifelong resident. She was employed as a dietary aide at North Shore Health in Grand Marais for over 25 years.
Peggy enjoyed camping and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Peggy is survived by her siblings Pamela (John) Bachar of Finland, Jan (Robert) McGregor of Grand Marais/Baudette, Bruce (Penny) Brisson of Grand Marais, and Scott Brisson of Deer River; nieces and nephews Jason (Marice) Zimmer, Bob (Amy) Zimmer, James (Jessica) Zimmer, Tom (Ann) Dawson, Kristi (Frank) Fenner, Paul Dawson, Nick (Rachel) Brisson, Bruce Jr. (Tammy) Brisson, and Eric Brisson; many great-nieces and nephews; and all of her co-workers at North Shore Health who touched Peggy’s life.
Services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, March 6, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Grand Marais.
