Magdalene Bolen

Magdalene H. Bolen, 92, Two Harbors, died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Ecumen Scenic Shores.
She was born on June 20, 1919 to Oscar and Marie (Hogquist) Falk in Two Harbors, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and its Peacemakers Quilting Group and VASA Lodge and its Chorus. She enjoyed dancing, baking, sewing, and flower gardening.
Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur in 1984, brothers, Walter and Werner Falk, sisters, Myrtle Scanlan and Mable Falk, and a great-grandson Joshua Bolen.
She is survived by her sons, Bill (Annette) and Bob (Vicki) both of Two Harbors; daughters Mary (Dave) Udenberg, Helen Bolen and Maggie Olson all of Two Harbors, and Karen (Phil) Amundson of Burnsville, Minnesota; a sister Margaret McCoy of St Joseph, Missouri; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery
