Lois Hynes

Lois Hynes, 85, of Silver Bay died on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Carefree Living in Silver Bay.
She was born on June 9, 1930 to Laverne and Grace (Oberg) Stotesbery in Minneapolis. Lois married Edward M. Hynes on June 9, 1956 and they moved to Silver Bay. She worked at Reserve Mining until 1964. Lois enjoyed many trips with the Harbor Mates and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, and the Lois Club.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Lois is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ed; daughter, Lezlie L. Hynes of Woodbury; and son Michael J. (Jeani) Hynes of Minneapolis.
The family would like to thank the staff of Carefree Living and Lake View Memorial Hospital for their excellent care.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Silver Bay. Memorials preferred to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
