Lisa Wick

Lisa Wick, 55, Two Harbors, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Lake View Memorial Hospital.

Lisa was born on February 17, 1962 to Duane and Lois (Olson) Wick in Two Harbors, where she was a lifelong resident, and member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. After graduating from THHS in the Class of 1980, she was employed for several years at Hardee’s and later was a long-term employee at Culver’s.  She enjoyed her work and was known for her dedication.

Lisa was very generous to her family, especially to her nieces and nephews. She had a lively sense of humor and was a favored aunt, spending much time walking along the lake with her nieces and nephews and going to countless movies. They all loved playing Husker-Du with her, with no clear champion after 20 years.

Lisa also enjoyed cross-country skiing, walking, white stormy winters, Christmas, and proudly displaying her heritage wearing her beautiful Norwegian sweaters.

Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alex and Ann Olson; and paternal grandparents, George Wick and Annie Swanson.

Lisa is survived by her parents, Duane and Lois Wick; siblings, Darrell (Laurie) Wick and Mike (Roberta McMahon) Wick, Loralee (Robert) Farah, and Krista Wick; nieces, Madison and Christina; nephews, Jeffrey and Logan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will be held.
