Linda Brink (Ward), 71, formerly of Silver Bay, died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center.
She was born July 27, 1949 to Lyman and Ruth (Bawden) Ward in Faribault, and grew up in Waterville. Linda married Richard Brink on July 23, 1976 and moved to Silver Bay in 1980. They then resided in Waterville for several years, returning to Silver Bay in 2009.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lyman and Ruth Ward, her husband Richard Brink and Brother Larry Ward.
She was dedicated to her family first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh and feel good. She made friends everywhere she went. She instilled strong values that have served us well and she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Linda is survived by her children, Kari (Matt) Anderson, Krystal (Brian) Singleton, Kim (Ryan) Peterson and Kevin (Victoria) Brink; Stepchildren; Gwen (Jim) Ross, Cindy (Randy) Swanson and Don (Tammy) Brink; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Norma (Al) Grunwald and LaVonne (Alex) Newcomer.
We will be honoring and celebrating Linda’s life at a later date this summer.
