Lavonne Olson

LaVonne Olson 90, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
She was born April 1, 1924 to Carl and Queenie (Sweet) Carlson in Laurens, Iowa. LaVonne grew up and attended school in Laurens, before moving to Two Harbors in her teens. She met Carl A. Olson and they were married June 10, 1943 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. LaVonne was a homemaker through the years, and was an active member of Women of the Moose and Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Lavonne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; and son, Norman.
She is survived by her son, Dale Olson of Two Harbors; daughter, Karla (Dave) DeCramer of Northfield; grandchildren, Nicole and Michael DeCramer; brothers, Frank and Henry (Terry) Carlson of Two Harbors; nephews, Mike, Tom (Sandy), Jeff, Ronnie, and Lyle; great nephews, Shawn, Corey, and Adam; and great-great nephews, Bodie and Colt.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Monday July 21, 2014 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
