Larry Dean Olson

Larry Dean “Uff Da” Olson, 74, Two Harbors, died December 16, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Larry was born January 5, 1948 to Galen and Tillie (Brattlie) Olson in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and grew up in Two Harbors. After graduating from high school in 1966, Larry served his country in the U. S Air Force at various bases around the world, lastly at March Air Force Base in Perris, California. Upon his retirement from the Air Force he remained at March Air Force Base as a Customs Officer for 15 years, until retiring in 2003. In 2020, he returned to Two Harbors.

Larry was a member of the American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose, and enjoyed fishing.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dick, and Roger; and a sister, Debra Barber.

He is survived by a sister, Gayle (David) Fleck; and several nieces and nephews.
