Kerry Danielson

Kerry J. Danielson, 71, of Silver Bay, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at Miller-Dwan Medical Center after a recent diagnosis of leukemia, with his wife and family at his side.

Kerry was born December 8, 1950 to Ken and Marion (Erickson) Danielson  in Duluth and had made his home in Silver Bay since moving there with his family as a child. He was employed at Reserve Mining for several years and later worked as a bartender at the Silver Bay Liquor Store. For much of his life, Kerry was a highly regarded drummer in country and rock bands performing on the North Shore.

Kerry was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Danette.

He is survived by his wife, Laurette ”Laurie”; a son, Kerry Jr.; a granddaughter, Natalie; a brother, Rick (Bobbi) Danielson; a sister, Doreen Tate; brother-in-law, David Tate; nieces and nephews and friends.
