Keith Broadbent

Keith Alan Broadbent, 54, Two Harbors, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2011. Keith was born Jan 25, 1957 to Julie Ann (Swenson) and Clinton Broadbent of Coon Rapids, where he graduated from high school. He loved listening to music, going to concerts, and traveling. Keith moved to Two Harbors in 1998 and resided at Safe Harbor Group Home. He loved walking around town smoking his pipe and carrying his coffee. Keith's family appreciates all the people of Two Harbors especially his friends at Judy's CafAC., Holiday Gas Station, The DAC, the Recycling Center, and Heidi and Jim at Safe Harbor, who gave Keith a warm and safe place to call home. Their kindness made a difference in his life. He was preceded in death by his grandparent and father. Keith is survived by his mother, Julie Ann (Leo) Herring, brothers, Tom (Patty) of Two Harbors, Joel (Theresa) of Jacksonville, FL, sisters, Connie (Greg) Wilson of Saudi Arabia and Carla (Brett) Demchuk of Minnetrista, MN and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM service on Monday February 21, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Two Harbors. There will a lunch following.
