Karen Lee Barthell, 54, Two Harbors, died Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Bayshore Health Center in Duluth.
She was born July 23, 1956 to Virgil and Dorothy Lewis in San Francisco, California. She graduated from Jefferson High and lived in Daly City and Fremont California before moving to Minnesota. Karen enjoyed reading, walking and pool. She is preceded in death by her grandparents - Boone and Nonna Lewis and Charles and Nexi Workman.
Karen is survived by her husband - Robert; sister - Rhonda (Ed) Moura; sister-in-law - Pam Wolfe; stepchildren - Robert (Amy) F. Barthell and Andrew W. Barthell; grandchildren a�" Riley, Savanna, and Dominik Barthell; nieces - Stacy Moura and Lula (RJ) Matlock and their baby - Richard James; and nephews - Adam Moura.
