Joyce Ryden

Joyce Elaine Ryden (Taklo) passed away peacefully April 23, 2011 at Ecumen Scenic Shores Care Center in Two Harbors, MN.
Joyce was born on June 13, 1930 in Hibbing, MN. She attended Hibbing High School, graduating in 1948. Joyce then moved to Duluth where she worked at a radio station and then worked even harder as a stay at home mom.
A long-time resident of Duluth, she raised two children, Kirsten and David. She then married her long-time best friend John Ryden and they lived in Big Fork, MN for eight years, before moving to Two Harbors where she lived until her death.
Joyce is survived by her husband John, daughter Kirsten (Minneapolis, MN) and nephew Gary Evenson (Bella Vista, AK). She was preceded in death by her son David and her brother Vern. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service is pending.
