Joyce Muellerleile

Joyce A. Muellerleile, 92, of Two Harbors, died Tuesday February 28, 2012 at Ecumen Scenic Shores.
Joyce was born July 19, 1919 in Two Harbors to Albert and Mary Montague. At a young age, she and her family moved to Larsmont where Joyce attended the "Little Red School House". After graduation from Two Harbors High School, Joyce married Howard Muellerleile. They made their home in Larsmont, where they raised their three children. Joyce worked for several restaurants in Two Harbors and Litton Industries in Duluth.
Everyone was always welcome at her home whether for a meal or a game of cards. Since moving to Bayview Terrace, Joyce had the wonderful opportunity to meet many new great friends, both residents and staff.
Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ray and Bob, sister, Betty, husband, Howard, and sons, Dale and Wayne.
Joyce is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Vic Giddings of Aurora; grandchildren, Chris (Nicole) Giddings of Woodbury, Minn, Meg Giddings (Trey) Vernon of Kansas, Mary Kay (Jewell) Herring of Babbitt; Larry (Tammi) and Grant Muellerleile of Two Harbors; several great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Donna Muellerleile of Babbitt, special nephew, Charles Montague of Illinois; and several other nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until the 1 PM service on Saturday March 3, 2012 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
