Joseph Slogar

Joseph Slogar, 68, Silver Bay, died Monday, July 20, 2020 at his home.

Joe was born July 12, 1952 to Thoedore and Olga (Perushek) Slogar in Ely, and grew up in Isabella. He served in the US Navy from 1971 to 1973, and from 1980 to 1987 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Navy Battle “E” Award.

Joe enjoyed the outdoors, and his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dona Breden, and a brother, Paul Slogar.

He is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Jason) Greer of PA; a grandson, Xander Greer; a brother, Garrick (Mary) Slogar; and many nieces and nephews.
