John Rinne

John D. Rinne,79, of Brimson, died peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Lake View Hospital in Two Harbors.

John was born January 27, 1943 to Arne and Elfie (Peterson-Niemi) Rinne in Two Harbors and was a life-long resident of Brimson. After graduating from high school, he served in the Army National Guard for several years. He later took over the rural mail carrier route from his father, and worked as a truck driver for Two Harbors Ready Mix and Ulland Bros. Construction. He also operated a tree farm for many years.

John was a member of the Teamsters, the American Legion, the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Masonic Lodge.

He enjoyed hunting, biking, and picking up litter while on his walks.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; and a sister, Carol Lathrop.

He is survived by his daughter, Jacy; and sons, Joel and Jack.
