Joanne Sansom

Joanne Sansom, 67, Two Harbors, died unexpectedly on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Lake View Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.

Joanne was born August 11, 1950 to Kermit and Jean (Gardner) Ek in Two Harbors where she was a lifelong resident.  She was a homemaker through the years and married Frank Sansom on April 28, 1973.

She enjoyed planting flowers and time with her family.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Tanya; son, Robert; granddaughter, Cassandra; sisters, Alice (Gene) Smith, and Barbara Roberts; and a brother, Harold (Jean) Ek.

Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
