Joanne Fuentes

Joanne Fuentes, 81, of Two Harbors, died on Monday, February 17, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.
She was born on February 4, 1933 to Perry and Geneva (Rabey) Bolen in Two Harbors, where she graduated from high school. On February 18, 1955 Joanne married Bonifacio Fuentes in Two Harbors. She was a homemaker throughout the years.
Joanne enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, and reading. She sang in church choirs and also for weddings and funerals. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Brian; brothers, Keith and John Bolen; and sister, Lois Lovold.
She is survived by husband of 59 years, Bonifacio; children, David (Liza Pai) of New Smyrna, FL, Bonnie Fasciana of Duluth, Rita (Greg) Pelton of Duluth, and Dan (Gerri) of Duluth; grandchildren, Chad, Pat, Stephanie, Andrew, Marie, Tara, Trisha, Tanya, Kylie, and Alec; great-grandchildren, Riley, Logan, Averie, Amber, Alyssa, Emma, Dakotah, Ricky, Coy, Jase; and sisters, Mary Johnson and Genevieve Palmquist.
Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM Funeral on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Lunch will follow at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
