Joann Gow

JoAnn Gow, 90, Two Harbors, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Waterview Shores.

She was born July 20, 1930 to Theodore and Mary (Woitel) Freeberg in Two Harbors, where she grew up and graduated from high school in 1948.  She married Robert Gow in 1950 and was a homemaker through the years.

JoAnn enjoyed bowling, traveling with Bob, and time with family and friends.  She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and sisters, MaryAnn, Claire, and Lucille.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Gary) Gustafson and Debbie (Mike) Daniel; her sons, Kevin (Juile) Gow and David Gow; grandchildren, Jay (Andrea) Gustafson, Kristi (Tyler) Thompson, Jason (Joselyn) Daniel, Nick Daniel, Kimberly Daniel, Ashley (Andrew) Farren, Joshua Gow, Samantha (Stephen) Shymanski, Sarah Gow, and David Gow; and great-grandchildren, Derek, Danika, Dain, Skylar, Andrew, and Vincent.

The family would like to thank the staff of Waterview Shores and Moments Hospice for the living care they provided to JoAnn and her family.

Private services will be held.
