Jerome Wing

Jerry Wing, 77, Two Harbors, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Lake View Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 7, 1936 to Joel and Arleen (Gleason) Wing in Minneapolis. After completing college in South Dakota, Jerry worked as a pharmacist in Owatonna and Apple Valley before moving to Two Harbors in 1985. With his wife, Char, he owned and operated Falk's Pharmacy in Two Harbors for many years. Jerry later worked at Falk's Pharmacy in Lakeside until retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Two Harbors Area Chamber of Commerce. Jerry's joy in life was his grandson, Logan.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, a step-son, Greg Mielke; a sister, Betty Morrison; and a brother, Joel Wing.
He is survived by his wife Charlene; a step-son, Rick (Stacy) Mielke; sons, Daniel (Denise), David, Patrick and Christopher Wing; granddaughters, Chase and Aryana; and grandsons, Logan and Collin.
Visitation will be from 2-5 PM on Sunday December 15, 2013 at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors. Private services will be held at a later date.
