Jerald Linden

Jerry Linden, 64, of Two Harbors, died Saturday November 9, 2013 at the V.A. Medical Center in Minneapolis with his family by his side.
He was born November 24, 1948 to Andrew and Jeanette (Oslund) Linden in Litchfield, and grew up and attended schools in Atwater and Grove City. He completed diesel mechanic school at Alexandria Technical College, and then entered the U. S. Navy Seabees, serving in Vietnam from November 1968 until November 1969. He worked as a diesel mechanic in Faribault for a short time, before moving to Two Harbors full-time in 1972. He worked in the construction industry for several years, and later was self-employed as a logger.
Jerry enjoyed woodworking, helping, and visiting with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Mona; sons, Jeff and Chad (Kristin) Linden of Two Harbors; a daughter, Kirsten (Mark) Kortesma of Duluth; a grandson, Colton; and brothers, Ronald of Atwater, Dennis of Hutchinson, and Chuck of Two Harbors.
Visitation will be from Noon until the 1PM Service on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. Burial will be at a later date in Silver Creek Cemetery.
