Jeanne Parke

Jeanne C. Parke, 89, of Two Harbors died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Ecumen Scenic Shores, with her son, Eddy and grand-dog, Trixxie by her side.
She was born May 2, 1925 to Louis and Esther (Soderberg) Dahl in Two Harbors. Jeanne grew up in Two Harbors and graduated from THHS in 1943. She married Earl Parke in 1956 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors. Jeanne worked as a telephone operator for over 30 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Women of the Moose Chapter #109 and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Unit #109. Jeanne enjoyed cooking and taking care of her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Earl in 1982.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Eddy, and grand-dog, Trixxie.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service, Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery. Luncheon will follow at the Moose Lodge.
