Jean V. James, 70, of Two Harbors, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 17, 1951 to Thomas and Donna (Fulton) Muehlberger in St. Paul where she grew up, before moving to Silver Bay in 1968. Jean graduated from William Kelley High School and a year later, married Jimmy James on February 7, 1970. They made their home in Two Harbors since 1972 and Jean was actively employed in the family business as a realtor and paralegal. She also drove school bus for many years.
Jean was an active member of the Evangelical Free Church and 4-H. She also was an EMT and ambulance driver in her younger years.
Jean loved gardening and decorating for Christmas, especially enjoying Christmas lights. She also enjoyed needle work; cross-stich, knitting, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tom; husband, Jimmy in 2020; and nephew, Robbie
Jean is survived by children, Jeremy (Jeanette) James, Jason (Annette) James; Jennifer (Jeffrey) Tharalson; grandchildren, Jordan (Jess), Jenna (Brandon), Ericka, Renee, Sean, Cian, Aidan, Joseph, Jeffrey, Jocelyn, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Novah, Maci, and Logan; mother, Donna; siblings, Michael (Judith) Muehlberger, Teresa McMillian, and Thomas (Susan) Muehlberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 11 AM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Two Harbors.
