Jason Lashinski

Jason Lashinski, devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the age of 46.

Jason was born April 13, 1975 to Gene and Karen Lashinski in Minneapolis and had lived in Grand Marais since 1978. He was honored to be employed in the family businesses.

He enjoyed traveling the U S and Canada in his motorhome with his family, homeschooling his son, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, his Friday night poker group,  and any other activities involving family.

Jason was a kind-hearted man who loved and was loved, who surrounded himself with good people, and wanted them to be happy.

Jason was preceded in death by a nephew, Brandon.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri; sons, Devann and Christian; parents, Gene and Karen Lashinski; brothers, Steven, Daniel, Jarid (Jennie) and Jamin (Angela); nieces and nephews, Jesse, Stephanie (Daniel), Andrew, and Alyssa.

Visitation will be from Noon until the 1 PM service on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Cornerstone Community Church in Grand Marias. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at a later date. To share your memories or condolences online please visit www.cavallinfuneralhome.com.
