Janice M. Clarke, 83, Silver Bay, died Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Janice was born to Henry and Grace (Stauty) Osse on June 23, 1937 in Duluth, growing up and attending school in Proctor. She married Curtis Clarke in 1957 and they lived in Newport, Rhode Island during his Navy service. They returned to Duluth in 1959 and made their home in Silver Bay since 1963. Jan was a homemaker through the years and an Avon lady for 31 years.
Jan was a member of Sychar Lutheran Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and the Red Hat Society.
She enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Jim Waller.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Curtis; sons, Roger (Gloria), Craig (Leinel), and Brian (Carol King); grandchildren, James Matthew and James Steven Friddle, Jennifer Hamilton, and Chad Waller; and a brother, Ronald Osse.
A gathering of Jan's family and friends will be held in the fellowship hall at Sychar Lutheran Church from 10 AM until Noon on Friday, June 25th, 2021.
