Janice Anderson

Janice Anderson, 82, Two Harbors, formerly of Tofte and Bloomington, died peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her daughter’s home after a battle with cancer.

Janice was born August 7, 1936 to Sever and Hulda (Korpi) Mattson in Hinckley and graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1954. Janice was married to Raymon Anderson on August 20, 1955 and they celebrated 54 years together until his passing in 2010. While Janice and Ray were raising their family in Bloomington, Jan was employed as a pharmacy technician at Snyder Drug in Richfield for 21 years.

While living in Tofte, Jan enjoyed her ceramic studio, and motorcycling with the Minnesota Wings-Twin Ports Chapter, with her husband Ray.  Janice was a member of the United Church in Two Harbors.

In addition to her parents, and husband Ray, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence and Lester Mattson.

Janice is survived by a daughter, Terri (David) Oys of Maple Grove; sons, Ricky (Denise) Anderson of Bloomington, and Mark Anderson of Princeton; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the United Church in Two Harbors.
