JACQUELINE KAY GOW
Jacqueline K. Gow, 82, formerly of Silver Bay, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Benedictine Health Center in Duluth.
She was born on June 9, 1929 to Edward and Catherine (MacDougal) Hall in Two Harbors. In 1950, she married Richard Gow and they made their home in Silver Bay.
Jacqueline was a past president of the V.F.W. Auxillary, the co-chairman of the "Miss Silver Bay Pageant, and a volunteer at the Veteran's Home. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she taught religion classes and sang in the choir.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard; daughter MaryBeth; brother Hugh; and sister Barbara.
Jacqueline is survived by sons Steven of Duluth, Mark (Linda) of FL., Bryon (Lisa) of Minneapolis, and Brent (Cindy) of WA; grandchildren Crystal, Nick, Jeremy, Chris, Tracy, Shannon, Seth, Lindsay, Logan, Stacy, and Kelsie; Great-grandchildren Devan, Jacob, Kyla, and Christian; sisters Mary Clare Hall and Bonnie Wilkins; and sister-in-law Nancy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Silver Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
